The princess often did things like this. She really loved being involved in noble causes that can help people in her country and all over the world. Many famous celebrities and other important people typically attend the Cannes Film Festival. This photo was taken on May 15th in 1987 when Princess Diana decided to attend the glamourous 40th-anniversary event. She wore a powder blue chiffon strapless dress designed by one of her favorite designers, Catherine Walker. Together with the dress, she wore a matching scarf. It wasn’t surprising that this became one of Princess Diana’s favorite fashion moments.

Before she became the ‘people’s Princess’, Lady Diana led an almost ordinary life. Diana Spencer took ballet and piano. She had a beloved pony as a pet named Scuffle. The gem was surrounded by 14 diamonds. Just days after the royal engagement was announced, the couple did a small photo-op outside the Palace to officially release photos. Everyone was desperate to get a look at the ring.

The royal couple went on their honeymoon around the Mediterranean. At the start, they were seen on the Royal Yacht Britannia. In 1981, the happy couple took their honeymoon trip to Scotland where they were pictured looking giddy with joy.
