Charles was about to perform the DNA test. He grabbed the needle to draw blood and placed it on the monkey, but the needle broke immediately after attempting to press it into the animal’s skin. This was weird, so Charles tried again with a larger needle.

Apollo had to return to his cage and immediately began gazing about. He had never seen such an unkempt refuge. He needed to find a way out of here. He realized that his cage was of poor quality, and he identified various areas where he could perhaps break through.

The next day, he returned to the public monkey yard with his other monkeys. He glanced at each monkey and realized how miserable they were. Everyone was hungry and dejected due of the awful refuge circumstances. Apollo continued seeking for further weak points in order to try to break free again. The cages were Apollo’s first challenge because he needed to get out first. Given how horrible the cage conditions were, this shouldn’t be too difficult. And, moreover, he had already come a long way when he was arrested a few days before. He knew it would not take long to get out of the cage.

Apollo used his raw strength on his feet to open another crack in his prison. It took some time, but he eventually made it through his cage and was on his way out. He swiftly found his way to the tunnel that led to the public monkey yard, from where he escaped via the roof.

Apollo came at the public area where the other monkeys would regularly congregate. He understood exactly where the weak point was. It was on top of the roof, so he dashed to a tree, climbed inside, ascended, and then leaped onto a rock to continue his journey to the roof.

Apollo got all the way up on the roof and noticed the small crack in the glass. All he had to do was use his feet to hop through it. He succeeded all at once. Then he climbed further and saw the public roadway below him. Fortunately, it is evening, so there is no one on the street right now.

He dashed to Rick’s residence. He wanted to get there as soon as possible and be with Rick again. He thought about him every day, and every time Rick came, Apollo would cry. He was eager to get back to his best friend Rick. He was almost there; only a few more blocks.

Apollo approached Rick with the keys he had snatched from the staff room. Rick set everyone free, and they all rushed to the front of the building.

Rick and Apollo exchanged glances, and Rick gave Apollo a kind nod. This was his chance to let Apollo go and embrace complete freedom.
